About STI

STI Data was born from Elena López’s obsession with data and her commitment to technical excellence. While leading the data department at a prestigious firm, Elena was tasked with a high-stakes project involving massive information scale. Given the green light to hand-pick her own team of elite engineers, she realized she was building something far greater than a single department.

Driven by a passion for mentorship, Elena founded «Learning DB with SQL Server», which grew into Latin America’s largest data community, boasting over 44,000 members. This network became the crucible where she scouted her initial talent and earned her recognition as a Microsoft MVP.

In 2017, encouraged by her successes and peer insights, she founded STI Data. By 2020, Elena transitioned to the company full-time, scaling the core team with dedicated data engineers and specialized project managers.

The turning point arrived in 2021; six major enterprise projects accelerated the company’s trajectory. By 2023, a single client engagement required 14 additional specialists, cementing STI’s reputation as the Microsoft Partner with the highest density of certified engineers in the Caribbean. Today, STI continues to bridge the gap between complex data architecture and actionable business intelligence.
